Day in the Life – Loida Day 2: Access to information

It is inspiring to see how libraries continue to host workshops to promote access to information and services for all customers. For instance, today I attended a workshop with representatives from the  ALA GLBT Round Table and the New York City Commission for LGBTQ Runway and Homeless Youth. Both organizations provided many resources. One of them is a website to know more about GLBTQ books, the ALA Rainbow Project – Recommended GLTBQ Books for Young Readers. Good list by the ALA GLBT RT.
