Queens Library invites you to welcome The Shanachies

The Shanachies are coming to New York.

In 2007 they drove from Chicago to Monterey interviewing librarians about their programs, services and technologies. Their tour was a huge success. They wrote a book with an accompanying documentary, Shanachie Tour: A library road trip across America, posted pictures in Flickr, and videos in YouTube. In 2008, they spent three weeks in Australia interviewing librarians. They have toured libraries in Europe and the Caribbean doing the same and this April 7 they are coming to New York!!
